Alright Then,

Finally, self revisions of my paper are complete. Now I just need to start sorting through the other pile of things I need to do.

A special thanks to Ms. Anderson, for sending me a plethora of links relating to my grad project.

That also leads me to a concern... There are so many things I can do with this project, and so many things that can affect anything I choose to do with this project. I hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew, I can't afford to this last trimester.

Essential Question: Does color effect emotion

Foundation Questions

· Why?

· What colors cause what emotions?

· What affects this?

· Does it affect learning?

· Does ones background affect this?

· Is this used in designing schools or houses?

· Is gender a factor?

· Does color and emotion also have an effect in clothing?

· What other scenarios are there where the color of something effects ones emotions?

· How can this information be used to improve schools or homes containing depressed people?

Key Terms

Brightness- Attribute of a visual sensation according to which an area appears to exhibit more or less light.
Chroma- The colourfulness of an area judged in proportion to the brightness of a similarly illuminated area that appears to be white or highly transmitting (i.e. reference white).
Colourfulness- Attribute of a visual sensation according to which an area appears to exhibit more or less of its hue.
Hue- Attribute of a visual sensation according to which an area appears to be similar to one, or to proportions of two, of the perceived colours, red, yellow, green and blue.
Lightness- The brightness of an area judged relative to the brightness of a similarly illuminated area that appears to be white or highly transmitting (i.e. reference white).
Saturation- Colourfulness of an area judged in proportion to its brightness.
